Description

Rare 7 inch by White Stripes frontman Jack White

This was a vanity project recorded with friend/mentor Brian Muldoon inspired by their respective upholstery businesses at the time. One of only 1000 pressed up by Sympathy for the Recording Industry.

A-side: "Apple of My Eye"

B-side "I Ain't Superstitious" and "Pain (Gimme Sympathy)"

Package includes Jack and Brian's business cards, a sandpaper sample, a sticker for Jack's "Third Man Upholstry," a fabulous tri-fold insert of Jack and Brian restoring an old chair (with a descriptive "play-by-play) and a replica of the of the business card for "Klomp Upholstery" in Detroit, the company that first re-upholstered the chair in 1959.

The 45 is in perfect shape and is an excellent early example of Jack White's tireless creative spirit.
