Description

The Valkyries were a four-man garage rock band from the Boston suburbs of Medway and Medford, Massachusetts that performed from 1965 to 1967.

Frank Curtis, Steve Thorp, Domenic Palumbo and Stan Baker recorded this rare single in Framingham, Massachusetts in the second half of 1965. Curtis sang, played lead guitar and wrote “Love You Like I Do” with backing vocals from the others. The flip side, “Blues For Cookie” is a slow saxophone instrumental featuring Palumbo. This disc comes from the collection of a recently deceased Massachusetts collector. It is in Very Good (VG) condition with some scuffs and scratches but no skips or sustained pops. There is a tag on the A side of the Cori record label.
