VUBOX 1
VELVET UNDERGROUND The Velvet Underground (Rare 1986 UK limited edition 5 x vinyl LP boxed set, includes the albums Another View, The Velvet Underground, A Collection Of Unreleased Recordings, The Velvet Underground & Nico(gatefold) and White Light/White Heat. Housed in a 12" x 12" picture box complete with an 8-page booklet.
I have owned this since new but has not been played for 20 years plus apart from yesterday when I played some selected tracks on a friends deck with a linn arm.
All sounded fine and clear apart from some static crackles.
No scratches anywhere on the vinyl and covers are all really good so graded all vg +. The box is good, has a bit of wear and discoloration round the edges.
As I remember only VU and The Velvet Underground & Nico VU got played more than a couple of times. VU is the only disc that shows any obvious wear with some very light marks and a scuff across one track. Nothing that was detectable on the listening test though.
