RARE VINTAGE The Velvet Underground & Nico (Andy Warhol Banana Cover Art - UNPEELED) misprint. This is a V6-5008 The Velvet Underground & Nico East Coast MISPRINT with an unpeeled Banana of Andy Warhol's cover artwork though a little piece on top is missing (see picture). The off-white outer cover shows some minor discoloration from handling which a white pencil eraser should take right off.
Errors are the wrong labeling of the LP as Side 1 and Side 2 (instead of A and B) AND the same errors on the vinyl itself. Also the time associated with "I'll Be Your Mirror" is printed as 2:01 should be 2:10 duration instead!
The ORIGINAL inner sleeve is present and neither ripped nor torn!
The is NO split at the inner seam but approx. a 3.5" split along the back on top of the folding cover (pictured). The record is in PERFECT condition (which I tried to picture) with no marks or scratches and plays without noise or static (as recordings for these years go). Absolute collectors item and hard to find in this condition
