Description
The grail of many collections: an unpeeled VU & Nico album. This is a UK pressing on MGM Records, catalog number 2315 056. Not all of copies of this record came with a peelable banana. According to Discogs, "Some copies came in imported original US cover with peelable banana." This is one of those copies! It even still has the US catalog number (V6-5008) on the spine. There is a sticker on the back cover with the UK cat. no.
Disc has a few light marks on either side from being taken in and out of the sleeve. Perfect sheen throughout. A few spindle marks on either side. VG+
Sleeve shows a bit of wear to the edges. White cover has a bit of yellowing from age. The tip of the banana is torn all the way across, but is still fully stuck on the cover. The banana is in excellent shape overall, with some light wear/crinkling here and there. Please look at the close-up pics. VG+
