Description
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’re only interested in an investment to flip, this is not the listing for you. This item is for a fan that will listen to and enjoy the record. The price is retail, but it’s more than fair for how it looks and plays. Honestly, I'm sad to see it go but I need the money.
Artist: The Velvet Underground
Title: The Velvet Underground & Nico
Label: 1968 West Coast gatefold pressing. Airbrushed torso on back cover.
Record Grading: VG+
—Visually, side 1 is closer to VG, while side 2 is VG+. Both sides play VG+. There is surface noise and some crackles here and there but no skips or loud pops.
Sleeve Grading: VG
—See photos. Banana is in tact but appears to have been peeled from top to roughly the mid-way point. Bottom half of banana is mostly clean and in tact. Normal shelf-wear for a 55-year-old record and a few small stains. 1-inch seam split on top. Spine and other seams are clean.
Shipping: Ships in “The Best Record Mailer” with extended edges. Record in MoFi inner sleeve and removed from outer sleeve in shipping to prevent seam splits. Both sleeve and record in resealable Japanese outer sleeve.
Grading scale: M > NM > EX > VG+ > VG
