Description

For auction is a beautiful condition and very rare first U.K. stereo issue of The Velvet Underground’s ‘White Light White Heat’ from 1968 on the Verve label. A1/B1 matrices and 1R/1R mother/ stampers.

The original black first issue sleeve, with skull visible, is in EX- condition. Apart from minor laminate creases and minor opening edge wear it is fully intact. Spine fully intact and readable.

Original inner sleeve is in VG+ condition

Record is visually excellent, with only a handful of very minor scuffs and hairlines across both sides. Labels clean with no writing.

Sonically is also excellent with only occasional quiet crackles but no sticks skips or jumps.

Very rare to see these first issue copies, especially in this condition.
