10 GREAT VERVE JAZZ RE-ISSUES IN ONE BOX
This is one of a limited edition number box set which Classic Records releases about 10 (maybe more) years ago (I am going off memory for some of these details - if you have some additional or more accurate info please feel free to contact me with it) from when Classic Records was first starting to re-issue these classic jazz titles. Each box and each LP is numbered (with the same number, #0334 for this set) of (I think) a total (I think) of 500 sets. The LPs are 180 or 200 gr vinyl (can't recall for sure) and were mastered by Bernie Grundman on all tube gear. Great recordings, wonderful sound.
I bought this set new. All LPs except for two (The Hawkins Encounters & Ella Sings Songs from Let No Man Write My Epitaph LPs are SEALED NEW) have been opened and played at MOST 5 times each. They are all in excellent condition cosmetically and groove wise (I think the LP geeks would use the terms NM or NM+. Please Note: I am a HiFi dealer, not a record dealer/collector/seller... this set is from my personal record collection - and when played, played on high end turntable systems) . I have duplicated most all of these titles with other re-issues and other LPs & CD's over the years, so time to pass this set on since I rarely played it.
