Description
The Verve are simply wrongly described as a Britpop group. This is a Rock group or Alternative Rock. Their very first album A Storm In Heaven is now recognized as a masterpiece and it is a clearly shoegazing album. This 2019 repress Of Urban Hymns, their best work according to most critics but people as well, in a heavyweight 180gr. Green 2LP Vinyl, is just a great album to own. Other than their 4th album, which I personally did not like, The Verve played some of the best music in the 90’s. The album is clearly in MINT condition. Perfect in every aspect. Please note I will not ship records outside USA.
Urban Hymns is the third studio album by English alternative rock band the Verve, released on 29 September 1997 on Hut Records. It earned nearly unanimous critical praise upon its release, and went on to become the band's best-selling release and one of the biggest selling albums of the year. As of 2019, Urban Hymns is ranked the 18th best-selling album in UK chart history and has sold over ten million copies worldwide.
The album features the hit singles "Bitter Sweet Symphony", "Lucky Man" and UK number one "The Drugs Don't Work". The critical and commercial success of the album saw the band win two Brit Awards in 1998, including Best British Group, and appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in April 1998. "Bitter Sweet Symphony" was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. It was also among ten albums nominated for the best British album of the previous 30 years by the Brit Awards in 2010, ultimately losing to (What's the Story) Morning Glory? by Oasis.

International Shipping
I will only ship to the following countries: European Union, England, Canada and South Korea using USPS First Class for packages up to 4 pounds, or USPS Priority if the weight is higher than 4 pounds. I will always ship in a box with bubble packaging. You will be able through the eBay calculator to estimate your exact shipping cost. Again, in case you buy more than 1 item, please request an invoice because E-bay cannot calculate shipping costs in multiple purchases.
Please make the payment within 3 business days or the 4th day, E-bay will take the responsibility directly to contact you for your non-payment bid.
Returns are accepted if the item is new, as it was shipped to the buyer and there will be a full refund in case of wrongfully described or damaged during transit. On all other cases, I reserve the right to deny a return or negotiate the terms. I only sell Brand New Factory sealed & Mint items and I will always provide every single flaw I can detect. No returns are accepted in international transactions.
