By far the best Verve album, it defeats me why there are no previous reviews to the this 19 year old masterpiece. The acoustic soul and utmost self indulged pleasure from a then up and coming band is never so more apparent and that bleeds from very nook n crannie of every single bleated cry from Mr Ashcroft's drugged up soul destroying contempt. He is the pointing to every slab of spaced out rock that never fails to surprise me and that is missing from the likes of Northern Soul and the overated Urban Hyms and so on. my no.1 album from that classic early 90's indie era.

This is one of the best Psychedelic Rock albums ever. It is in my personal top 5 of all time.
I have been listening to this album since 1995 and over the years when I would revisit, it always sounded vital and brand new.
Classic... Epic... and Timeless.
