The Crickets consisted on Buddy Holly, Niki Sullivan, Joe Mauldin and Jerry Allison.

Signing dual contracts as both The Crickets and on his own as Buddy Holly, two debut albums followed. "The Chirping Crickets" in 1957 and "Buddy Holly" in 1958.

This remastered double album features tracks from both solo and group recordings and includes now legendary songs such as "Peggy Sue", "True Love Ways", "Oh Boy!" and "That'll Be The Day".
