Frankie VALLI -- Superb Hand SIGNED Sleeve for 12" LP Album 'The Very Best Of Frankie Valli.'
On offer is a 12" UK LP album (MCF3053,) released in 1979 by MCA Records, hand SIGNED on the sleeve 'Lots Of Good Wishes To You Frankie Valli.' There are 5 songs on each side, several of Valli's hits among them. Valli's long time associate, the late Bob Crewe, wrote & produced eight. The following songs are on the LP -

The record is assumed to be a first pressing, with record and sleeve in fine condition. The record was signed for a BBC record producer when it was first released. Stamped on the runout is 'MCF3053 A1' on side 1 and 'MCF3053 B1' on side 2. Hand scratched on the runout is 'MCF3035 A1' on side 1 and 'MCF3035 B1' on side 2.
Frankie Valli (born Francesco Stephen Castelluccio, 1934) is an American singer, frontman of The Four Seasons, his career beginning in 1960. He is known for his powerful falsetto voice. Valli scored 29 Top 40 hits with The Four Seasons and nine Top 40s as a solo artist. The Four Seasons number-ones included "Sherry" (1962), "Big Girls Don't Cry" (1962), "Walk Like a Man" (1963), "Rag Doll" (1964) and "Oh, What a Night" (1975). As a solo artist, Valli scored number-one hits with "My Eyes Adored You" (1974) and "Grease" (1978). Valli, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi and Bob Gaudio – the original members of The Four Seasons – were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
In 2005 Valli & The Four Seasons were immortalized when the musical 'The Jersey Boys' opened on the Broadway. Along with performances of many of their hits, the musical features biographical narratives from the viewpoints of each of the group's four members. The show has been widely acclaimed and financially successful, winning six Tonys. There are touring companies around the world. It was adapted as a film in 2014, directed by Clint Eastwood.
