For sale is The Vibrators' Pure Mania, originally released in the US in 1977 on Columbia Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track are the matrix numbers 1-A/1-A, indicating that a first stamper was used to make this first pressing, highly sought after by collectors and music lovers for its superior sound quality. I bought this new and immediately put this album, like all my records, in a protective inner sleeve. Doing this leaves the inner sleeve in near mint shape. The cover is graded as VG+ because it has some ring wear, corner blunting and some stress cracks around the spine and the bottom. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of some faint sleeve marks. This is a very hard to find album and you would be hard pressed to find one in any condition. It's been played on only the best Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I'm a big fan of Punk Rock in the U.S. and the U.K. and have a lot of 45 RPM singles and albums in my Ebay store, as well as records of all genres. Please take a look. There are almost all near mint. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
