Description
Title: "The Visit." Artist: Bob Smith. Label: Kent. Release Date: 1970. Gatefold, with poster. In original shrink wrap--opened and played, but shows VERY few signs of use and probably hasn't been played in decades.
This West Coast Psych LP comes from the Estate of Academy Award-winning producer/director George Pal (The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds, When Worlds Collide). Pal was pursuing youth-oriented projects in the early 1970s, including one that he wanted a rock star to play the lead role in.
Condition: Overall, VG++ but with one flaw, of sorts: George Pal neatly drew a check mark beside one of the tracks in pen. Vinyl shows only very, very minor surface wear. Looks like it was barely played. VERY clean, overall. Record jacket is VG++ as well--there are some TINY surface chips on the open side of the jacket--otherwise, it looks gorgeous. Poster looks very, very good--very clean, never displayed.
