Description
Record Cover is in very good condition. Vinyl is near mint (doesn't look like its ever been played)
(Copied from discogs) Original 33⅓ version with a pink paper envelope sleeve that opens with a flap from the top. The words "Nonbreakable Vinylite" appear on the front of the sleeve.
This is the first pressing, with "LONG PLAYING MICROGROOVE" on two lines, a large "LP" logo at the bottom right and two lines of rim text and circular icons of the double quaver and microphone to the left of the text, design in use until circa September 1948.

Runouts are mostly stamped, matrix number etched.
Reissued on LP using existing material that was originally issued as a four-record 78 rpm album in March 4, 1946, catalogue no. C-112.
This 10" LP and the 12" LP Concerto In E Minor For Violin And Orchestra, Op. 64, were both printed for the (soon-to-be-announced) "Long Play LP's" for the Columbia catalog, and is considered the first (modern) 10" LP ever. Columbia Records unveiled both of these at a press conference at the Waldorf Astoria in June 1948.
