THIS IS A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THE COMPLETE PACKAGE OF THE 1987 FIRST PRESS, STICKERED, LIMITED EDITION OF THE WEDDING PRESENT'S CLASSIC DEBUT ALBUM 'GEORGE BEST' WITH THE WHITE VINYL 7" & THE CARRIER BAG.

Looking at the sales history for this item on discogs it seems that it has NEVER been offered as the complete package (and there are no listings there now for the stickered version, even for incomplete packages). Many were sold without the 7", all but one were without the carrier bag, and NONE of the records offered were MINT. 

This one is unplayed and has been in my record rack untouched since it was released in October 1987. There were only 2000 stickered and with the three track white vinyl of My Favourite Dress (plus two non album tracks). There were far fewer with the carrier bag and they tended to be used as... carrier bags (!) so they didn't survive. This limited edition was an exclusive for Rough Trade Distribution's 'Chain With No Name' of independent shops (like mine in Walthamstow, London) and we put the record IN the carrier bag as instructed (to promote the band and the album). UK records rarely (if ever) were factory sealed in those days (some big retailers like HMV shrink-wrapped records on site but this limited edition wasn't made available to them). 

The photos show all parts of this item including both sides of the inner sleeve.

CONDITION: MINT UNPLAYED RECORDS. Lovely shiny outer sleeve with no spine breaks or blunted corners. Back cover has a crease near the bottom left corner but it doesn't show on the front cover so it might be a manufacturing fault. Inner sleeve looks slightly below mint but from storage, not use. The bag is UNUSED but was stored with the record in a record rack so has some creases as seen in the photos. The 7" is mint. 

PLEASE carefully examine the photographs using the zoom function. The photos form part of the item description, particularly with regard to the condition.

Everything I list is on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos. 

I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise.
