"GLORIA b/w DON'T YOU KNOW "
on the COLUMBIA RECORDS cat# DB 7682 vintage 1965 ORIGINAL
A rare garage gem written by Van Morrison and released by THEM previously - this equally raw version an obscure release that sold nothing at the time!
The Shadows Of Knight also issued a version in the US, and that did sell quite well there - but The UK was swept under a tide of Merseybeat and pop, and garage rock was a little too feral for the mainstream record buyer.
This band issued 3 excellent and renowned R'n B Beat singles, none of which sold at all, but all are worthy for collectors of garage beat
Vinyl is VG+, light surface scuff visible from handling,
a couple of small but light marks. Plays and sounds strong & bright.
The Lables grade VG++ condition.
