Description

The Wailers Catch A Fire released on Island records in 1973.

Unique Zippo lighter design die cut sleeve - very rare and desirable record!

Catalogue No. ILPS 9241

The vinyl is consistent with a grading of VG - almost VG+ ( i use the goldmine grading as can be seen here - http://www.discogs.com/help/mp-grading.html ). Under a bright light source there are many very light hairline scratches and blemishes but it plays very nicely indeed - just a hint of background noise in silent/very quiet parts of the record.

The cover is in very good condition. The 'hinge' of the zippo is still very much intact, strong and perfectly functional. As can be seen from the pictures there is a small area about a cm square in the top right hand corner of the front cover where a sticker has been removed. There are a few minor creases here and there and some general wear around the edges (perhaps 20% - 30% of the edges show wear). The top edge, which is effectively the spine with the title of the album and the catalogue number printed, is in nice condition with fairly minimal wear - the album title and catalogue number can still be clearly seen/read.
