BEAUTIFUL Record!!! This is a SPECIAL one, so I’ll delve a little deeper into grading with this one.


Very early Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer


Side A: The Wailers “Simmer Down”

Side B: Bob Marley and the Wailers “Sunday Morning”

Grading (my opinion as a collector. See pics)


Visual: EX/VG+ (I have a hard time calling any record NM)


This record is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.

“Simmer Down” only has a few very, very light and short hairline surface marks.

“Sunday Morning” has just a few more tiny surface marks, but still in amazing condition.


This looks to only have been played a handful of times (only twice by me). It also appears as the surface marks could have come from removing and replacing the record in its sleeve. It’s super glossy and looks as if it was just pressed yesterday. The labels are very bright and clean with the only marks being the “Made In Jamaica” stamps.


Sound Quality: EX/VG.

“Simmer Down” sounds nearly perfect! In actuality, it sounds as good as CD recordings I’ve heard.

“Sunday Morning” sounds really good, more of the audible hiss that is typical with JA recordings is noticeable.

It’s a great quality pressing!
