Description
Vinyl copies of Tidal Wave of Hype by The Wake are currently very hard to find. This disc (made in France) is in mint condition, with no apparent scratches or deformities in the grooves or surface. The small gouge in the side-one label near the central post hole and the vinyl shaving sticking out of it are probably from the pressing/manufacturing process (see photos). The sleeve (made in England) is in near-mint condition, marred only by a small scrape on the lower-left corner edge, and a record-store price sticker in the upper right, which may be removed by the buyer, at their discretion (see photos - Note: Back sleeve track listing is incorrect. Track B5, Brit Mix, is not listed although it appears on the vinyl. It is correctly listed on the vinyl label.)
The disc is identified as a first pressing by the Matrix / Runout wax-stamps between the grooves and vinyl label, which read:
(Side A runout, hand-etched): MPO SARAH 618 A1
(Side B runout, hand-etched): MPO SARAH 618 B1
