Description

Jimmy McCracklin was born 100 years ago this year and was an American pianist, vocalist and songwriter. He was born in the south and was huge in the black music scene and was reckoned to have recorded over 30 albums and written over 1000 numbers.
This record "The Walk" was probably the biggest commercial success he had in the mainstream charts and in 1958 went to No 5 in the Billboard top 20 in the States. It had minimum impact in the UK and is a real collectors' item here in the UK. 
It's an R & B style number and is in pretty good condition as is the flipside "I'm to Blame", which is also well worth listening to. The sleeve is the original London sleeve and is also in good condition as seen in the photos. 
A top addition to any serious vinyl record collection.
