For sale is The Weavers' The Best Of The Weavers, originally released in 1980 by MCA Records in a double album set. I bought this record set used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put the records into two MFSL archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this release. The cover is graded as Excellent because of faint ring wear and some minor corner blunts. The spine has some color loss at the corners from rubs. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of some faint hairline sleeve marks and a white spot of residue at the end of "Down In The Valley" on side two of record two. I'm play grading it as Excellent because of an occasional pop or low level surface noise, most noticeable during the quiet sections and four or five rotations of ticking during "Down in The Valley". Most of the playback is Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Folk records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
