Description

On offer here is a very rare becoming mega rare original album by The Web entitled Fully Interlocking released in 1968 U.K..on the extremely collectible Deram label SML 1025 Stereo pressing.I would grade this as EX+/EX+. I am of the opinion this album is becoming much harder to track down especially in any decent shape .The music is brilliant progressive rock.Check out the brilliant Harold Dubbleyew and Hatton Mill Morning. The matrix numbers are 1W/1W. I am not an expert on matrices but this looks as if it is the earliest ever .Like most Deram albums, this album will continue to rise in value for the foreseeable future so would be an investment. In the 2002 rare record guide this album had a book value of £100 but now it sells for  much more in some cases.Just have a look at the photographs. It comes with the original sleeve.
Labels
These are brilliantly crisp and bright with no writing or marks on them and I could not see any spindle wear. The record looks as if it has only been played a few times maybe around 4 or 5.
Vinyl
This is a stunning example.Even under the strongest light I could not see any marks or scuffs or scratches except a tiny  mark towards the end of side 2.This is only visible under strong light and I am being very picky in mentioning this.It does not affect play..There are no jumps or repeating grooves.Even on the quietest tracks there was no background noise .These Deram albums like Harvest often played with audible background crackle and hiss even when purchased new from a record shop but this album is a welcome exception. The album has been cleaned with a professional cleaning machine worth £1000s but in reality I did not need to pay the fee for this.I would grade the vinyl side 1 mint, side 2 EX+.I have played it through on a Linn Sondek Goldring cartridge.
Sleeve
This is a laminated front sleeve which is fragile and is prone to excessive wear.I have seen many sleeves which are badly worn even torn and usually the writing on the spine is missing or illegible. On this sleeve there is no wear on the top and bottom or front edges as can be seen from the photographs There is no wear on the spine and all the writing on the spine is clearly legible with no missing letters. The only blemish I could see was a rectangular tape residue mark on the rear of the sleeve which was probably there from new when the record shop put a price tag on it.There is very slight creasing on the bottom left rear but you can hardly see it.The rear unlaminated sleeve is not grubby but a brilliant white..Overall this sleeve is almost mint and I think anyone would struggle to get a better one.The item is nearly 50 years old after all.
Overall ,I do not think this album will disappoint any winning bidder and to give everyone a chance,I have deliberately set a low start price for the auction. It goes without saying that if anyone is disappointed,I offer a compromise or a full refund..Please contact me directly if there is a problem. If you are secretly happy, please do not contact me simply to negotiate a lower price than the amount bid. This defeats the purpose of ebay.
Postage
I offer free postage to U.K.buyers and will ship world wide.£10 for Europe,£15 for rest of world.I have in the past excluded certain countries such as Russia and the Ukraine. In Russia sadly parcels are held up at customs ,go missing or the item can take 10 to 12 weeks to be delivered.Buyers would need to be patient and accept the purchase at their own risk but I will send all items tracked and can email a copy of the tracking receipt.I know some sellers have stopped sending to certain countries.
Payment
I refer PayPal in the U.K. but would accept a cheque or postal order.PayPal only rest of world.I do not have a facility to accept credit cards unless this is possible via PayPal.
