The White Stripes "White Blood Cells" SXSW 13" LP

Brand New, Never Played

As it is, this is a novelty item, because at 13" it is unplayable on a traditional turntable. As far as I know (and I've done some research) nobody has EVER played one of these, so there is no telling what is on it. Jack White is mischievous. It could be the regular White Blood Cells album. It could be live cuts or demos. It could be alternate recordings. Nobody knows. I didn't have the heart to trim the edge down, but that's an option. Or if you're a Third Man completist, this is the largest cover art available for this album. So it would be great to frame and hang on the wall.

This record was only available at the Third Man Records Pop Up Store in Austin Texas for the SXSW Festival in 2010. Once the Pop Up Store was gone, so were these records. Every Third Man Pop Up Store has a theme and the SXSW theme was "Everything is bigger in Texas," thus the 13" instead of a 12"
