These albums are used and sold as is. Please be sure to read the entire description before bidding. This is basically nice copies of Tommy and Quadrophenia with beater copies of The Who By Numbers and Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy thrown in as a bonus.
Tommy--Decca DL 75126. Both records are in good shape, with some marks but nothing major. The records sound really good, with just a little surface noise in some of the quiet parts. The multi-fold jacket has some creasing, wear at the edges and corners, some ring wear, a little writing on the front cover (looks like "c/2" in pen), and mild rub wear.
Quadrophenia--MCA 10004 (MCA362). Both records have some marks and would benefit from a proper cleaning, but they sound good with just a little surface noise in some of the quiet parts. The gatefold jacket looks decent, though it has wear at the edges and corners, some faint staining on the back, some ring wear, someone wrote "TRUX" in pen on the front, the bottom seam is partially split, a piece of ancient scotch tape is present, and there is a spot at the bottom of the front corner where I'm guessing a sticker was roughly ripped off. Inside the gatefold looks good. Includes the complete original booklet, which is in great shape.
The Who By Numbers--MCA-2161. The record is marked up and has some surface noise at certain points. The jacket is a bit dingy and does not look as crisp or bright as it once did, with normal wear at the edges and corners, some ring wear, and a mysterious orange spot on the back.
Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy--Decca DL 79184. The record would benefit from a proper cleaning and has some definite surface noise. The gatefold jacket is in nice shape with normal wear at the edges and corners, a little rub wear, and faint ring wear. Inside the gatefold looks good.
These are from my collection. I bought them used, I took good care of them, and they brought me many years of enjoyment. If you are an audiophile or hardcore collector, you might want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for the warm sound of The Who on vinyl at a bargain price, please consider bidding.
