Description
THE WHO "Live at Leeds"
This version has the Red Stamped cover which was the third colour released.It also has the black writing on the inner gatefold which denotes a first pressing (The re-press had red writing on the inner gatefold)
The record also comes with all 12 inserts (12 inserts and a poster) which are in virtually mint condition.If I am critical 2 of the inserts have a slight crease on one corner. QUITE RARE TO GET THEM COMPLETE AND IN THIS CONDITION
The record as already mentioned in the condition description has some light hairlines & insertion marks but it plays really well with light background noise at the run ins/run outs and in between tracks and has a slight pop right at the end of "Magic Bus" just as the track ends.
The record also comes with its original inner sleeve with "Plastic Bags can be Dangerous" and made in England printed on it
The sleeve has evidence of slight disc and corner wear and also age related fading.There is a black mark on the front cover and a folding/storage crease to the lower pocket of the gatefold. (please see the attached photos)

Many records are from my own personal collection and currently some from a neighbour which I am selling on their behalf.
Each record has been cleaned twice each side on a Project VC-S MK II record cleaning machine using Mobile Fidelity cleaning products.After cleaning they are placed in new anti-static inner sleeves and a new protective outer cover.
The wet clean vacuuming process makes a huge difference as it reduces dust,surface marks(not scratches) and significantly reduces background noise to give a much improved soundstage.
Most of my records are original/early pressings which in my opinion sound far superior to modern pressings.
A word about hairline marks and light scratches.It is almost impossible to find an older non sealed record without some marks as many records had them from new as a result of the inners that they were placed in.
Many records also have background noise which varies according to the quality of the original pressing.I will endeavour to list any faults etc in all of my listings.
I also try to listen to most records or at least parts of tracks after cleaning to assess the sound quality and my two turntables are vintage (30 yrs old) Bang & Olufsen which both are serviced regularly and have superior B&O cartridges fitted.
I take the grading seriously and will usually undergrade as everyone's idea of grading is totally different and very subjective.

CONDITION OF RECORD:
VG+ Hairline scratches and some slight background noise

Plays really well with minimum background noise .The odd faint click.
The 'crackle' apparently is part of the recording according to the labels
CONDITION OF SLEEVE:
VG (graded perhaps a little bit low for a 49yr old record)
It is probably more like a VG+ but you make your own mind up
from the photos.
