Description
I am selling this absolutely superb example of The Who Live at Leeds. Track 2406 001, May 1970 genuine first pressing. Everything original. LP plays superbly, some minor surface marks nothing worth mentioning further. All 12 inserts in their original protective sleeve, I have not seen this in any other auction. Inserts all original as follows; The poster is Live at the Marquee (not the later reissued Live at Leeds), minor marks to rear of the poster, My Generation lyrics sheet, accounts sheet for Marquee gig (in blue ink not later black ink copy), Kings Agency letter, Brocks fireworks invoice, Court proceeding notice, B/W photo of the Who (small drawing pin hole in top), picture of PT with guitar above head (lyrics on reverse are in blue ink not later black ink), New Action letter head gigs list, Accounts sheet for High Numbers on yellow paper (not later white paper), EMI Records rejection letter, Premier Talent Associates Woodstock contract on yellow paper (not later white paper). The rarest of these inserts to find is the Pete Townshend picture with handwritten lyrics on the reverse in blue, all later issues were black. There is no wear and tear to the labels, the cover has no tears, the staples aren't even rusty, there is a slight fade at the bottom of the front cover which you might just see in the photo.
