Description
A genuine first of the 1st pressings of 'Meaty Beaty Big And Bouncy' on UK Track. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'Porky/Pecko'. The labels are matt black with no ridge. Later copies are easily identified by a shiny surface and a ridged edge. Importantly, early 1st pressings were issued with a heavy-card gatefold printed by E J Day with a wide spine. In the interior at the top-left the track listing makes no mention of the producer's name - this is indicative of the very 1st issue. It also includes the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. 100% complete and 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Looks in remarkable shiny condition and has clearly been carefully looked after down the years. Under close inspection I can barely make out a single mark on either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity and little interference - just a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. A very very nice little player.
Cover (Ex) Again, this is remarkably well preserved. Front and back are in great condition with only some light creasing and indentations - Nothing really that noticeable. Edge wear is very light, but please note there is some fading on the spine. Due to the heavy card construction of the cover it has survived the years well and still remains nice and rigid.
Inner (Ex) Minimal ageing and no rips.
