Description

The Who – ‘My Generation’ / ‘Shout And Shimmy’ – Brunswick 05944 (UK)

Not much to add here except that this is a near mint copy of the original UK single housed in the rare Swedish picture sleeve (the way the initial run was released in Sweden). While the disc is in wonderful shape, the sleeve is slightly wrinkled and suffers from frayed edges where the opening is. In addition, there are split seams on two sides (left and bottom), slight ring wear (particularly visible on the back), and a tiny mark on Pete Townshend’s face. All in all though, for some reason it still looks fairly presentable! And the record is in top nick. Starting it low, a chance to win a very rare item at a good price!

Condition (record): Excellent; a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).

Condition (sleeve): VG+ or thereabouts (please see scans and read description above).

Registered and insured shipping (with a tracking number) is an additional US $11.00 per parcel to cover a total value not exceeding $80.00. The surcharge is US $16.00 for a total value of up to $1,550.00 (which is the maximum). Please get in touch for further combined shipping rates.

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.

American bidders, kindly note that shipping to the US is not US $4.00; this is eBay’s default setting and not applicable as I am based in Sweden. Please use the postage rates above, or wait for my invoice. Thank you!
