No cover No cover##### 1st Issue on UK Brunswick. Matrix 1B/1B. Tax Code "MT".. We also have an original mid sixties Decca inner sleeve BUT NO Cover...an excellent UPGRADE option. It's one of those copies where the audio....kinda defies belief...60 years old...and it still is blindingly good>> . Side 1 barely puts a foot wrong for reproduction.
Vinyl (Ex-) In great condition and plays pretty dang impressive despite moderate use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few light marks per side, a couple of more noticeable small ones...and there's nothing troublesome/untoward here. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with one minor deviation in one track. Quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with great clarity. Expect some light presence briefly in two of the quieter spots side 2. This sort of audio relies heavily on 'presence' and atmosphere. And for that you need a quiet background. Bags of energy and a straight delivery - amazing to think '65 copies can still hit the mark! A couple of ticks in a couple of spots and a couple of crackles in KIDS. But even this is not bad at all....perfectly good player in this track. AND EVERY other track plays clean and better than this one. A bit of a steal... To be frank -- it is playing even the quiet numbers very very well. 90% --- really quite dang impressive. One label has been initialled.
