PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING


This album was bought by my wife in 1965. She tells me it was played a lot at the time on her Dansette record player and also taken to parties where it no doubt suffered some abuse! I can say with some certainty that it wasn’t played at all after I met her in 1968 until a few weeks ago when I did a test run.

The surface of the record is scratched and marked. I’ve tested it on a twenty year old Memorex turntable. There is some noise which is mostly drowned out by the music which comes through load and clear. The record didn’t  jump or repeat but I can’t guarantee it will be the same on a quality system.


The outer sleeve shows signs of age on the front. The reverse side is grubby and stained (for condition - see photos). I don’t know if the inner sleeve is original.

I believe this is an early pressing - the photos of the record labels should give some clues. The matrix on the vinyl shows:

Side 1 - MG - 10256 - 1B
Side 2 - MG - 10257 - 1B

I’ve described this record as honestly as I can but if you have any doubts about its condition and playability, please don’t bid.
