Overall Sound Quality - All Albums: Excellent to Very Good+
An excellent copy of this Who box set including an original programme from The Who's 1981 Wembley Arena concert. The box and all the album covers (except "Tommy") are stickered "Limited Edition 2675 216". The copy of "Tommy" in the box set is as supplied it just hasn't been stickered for some reason.
Comprises nine albums - "My Generation (Mono version)"; "A Quick One"; "Who Sell Out"; "Tommy" (original studio version); "Live At Leeds"; "Who's Next"; "Quadrophenia" (original studio album); "The Who By Numbers" and "Who Are You".

Bought new after seeing the Who at Wembley but for some reason almost never played so all the album covers and vinyls are still in Very Good+ to Excellent condition with all inserts, etc present as supplied. Over time I bought all the albums here on CD and I'm about to retire my turntable - hence the reason for selling.
Recently re-played with the sound quality as noted below - our gradings are taken from those used by the Record Collector Rare Records Price Guide.

Condition Details
Album Box Cover Condition - Very Good: Some light to moderate pressure marks and light associated soiling to part of the top edge but otherwise only very light general wear and light edge toning, very clean. Individual Album Cover Conditions - Excellent to Very Good+: The covers are all in a very clean and clear condition, however if I was to be picky I'd say there are tiny amounts of very light edge creasing (the only exception to this being "Tommy" where there's a light to moderate crease towards the top the rear cover adjoining the spine), some albums have a little light edge wear and corner tip rubbing where they've moved around a bit inside the box; there's also some tiny spots of production glue residue to the front cover of "My Generation" near to the bottom of the spine, finally the glue has dried out on parts of the cover seams on some albums with resultant loosening (the most notable instance being to the top edge of "Who Are You"). Inner Sleeve Conditions - Very Good+: White paper inner sleeves as supplied, some mostly very light general creasing but almost as new. Concert Programme - Very Good: Very light external wear with a narrow band of very light soiling to part of the front cover's bottom edge, securely bound but staples rusty, internally Very Good in a very clean and clear condition throughout. Vinyl Appearance - Excellent to Very Good: Very clean, some very light surface marks and one instance of a light surface scratch which crosses tracks 3, 4 and part of track 5 on Side 1 of "Who's Next" (none of these blemishes seem to have a notable impact on the overall sound quality). A number of the albums have no spindle marks at all, a couple have some very light spindle marks - the only exception is Side 2 of "Who's Next" which has moderate spindle marking. Sound Quality / Any Further Comments: The overall sound grading for the complete box set is Excellent to Very Good+. Pretty well as new with just some very occasional light crackles as would be expected on albums that have only been played a couple times - overall very clear with no skips when played on our equipment.Total weight with cardboard packaging approximately 3.5Kg. A very heavy item - our asking price includes UK post and packing, international delivery will be by courier at an estimated cost of £20 for European countries and £35 for the rest of the world.
