This is a double LP compilation album, obviously with gatefold cover, released by MCA in 1981. This album focuses on songs from the '70's with the exception of: "I Can't Explain", "I Can See For Miles" and "Pinball Wizard" which are from the '60's.
"Hooligans" reached #52 on the US charts and is most notable as the 1st US album to include 3 hard to find "Who" singles. The 1971 single "Let's See Action" was not released in the US, and for this LP the title was changed to "(Nothing Is Everything) Let's See Action". 2 other singles, "Join Together" and "Relay" were released in the UK and the US in 1972. The US release of "Relay" was re-titled "The Relay". This version on this album was edited by use of a fade that occurs about 25 seconds early.
