Description

Finally got round to listing a few of my rarer records that I no longer listen to. It seems a shame to have them locked away so i am selling them and will buy stuff i do actually like.

Here we have my Original Who Sell Out with Stickered Sleeve and Rare Psychedelic Poster. One of these I saw recently sold for over £350. That’s what made me think about selling.

Sleeve. VG- : The EJ Day original pressing sleeve has some creasing to the front and back. The colours are still quite rich with the white areas looking more creamy than white. There is a mark on the back that suggests a second sticker was there but I can’t confirm this as I have had the record for only 15 of the 41 years since its release. The spine has wear and tear but is free from actual holes. The sticker is quite battered and has a crease from the cover running through it. All the text is readable but it does have some wear to it.

Record. VG+ : The record itself is in good played condition with only a few hard/loud pops and crackles. I have played it through and it has some deterioration but is lovely to listen to and is much better condition than the sleeve. There are spindle marks but the labels are altogether and free from scuffs, tears and writing. I have looked after this record well and is no more deteriorated than when I bought it.

Poster. VG : Unbelievably rare poster only 1000 printed. It looks and feels well held together at the folds. It has good colour but again has yellowed with age. There are some damp marks on the edges but they don’t show on the ink so much. It has no pin holes or tape marks. And has only a few creases and tears along the edge of the folds. It tells you where it was printed along the bottom left hand side.

All in all this is graded VG condition. I have only seen this album a handful of times at record fairs and shops. Having looked at the time of uploading this there aren’t any others on Ebay at the minute. This is a real gem of an album and a must for collectors of The Who or collectors of 1960’s/Psychedelic music.

RETURNS : I will accept returns where I have made a mistake with the grading or description on item.

Feel free to ask me questions and if this goes well I may well be putting other 60’s albums and singles on here.

GOOD LUCK
