Description
I am selling my entire vinyl collection over the next few onths. Beatles and Led Zeppelin all gone now. Next up is Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Yardbirds, Who, Small Faces.
This is a great copy of The Who's classic The Who Sell Out. This is the very limited to 500 copies version that included a poster. The sleeve has the original "Free Psychedelic Psoter Inside" sticker.
Vinyl. I would have graded this EX, but in bright sunlight the hairlines sustained during 50-odd years of removing from the sleeve are evident. So VG++. The heavy-duty vinyl is bright and clean.
The sleeve with the sticker is VG++. Four sharp corners and a well defined spine. No writing, stains, rips or ring-wear. Again, it's almost EX. Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London W11.
I will also throw in another sleeve, exactly the same as above, but with "Patent Pending" after W11. This sleeve is VG, with a scuffed spine. I will put the poster in this sleeve for transport.
The poster has obviously been on a wall. The four corners are damaged. There is a 5cm split on one of the folds. Poster is VG-.
Labels are very clean - just some spindle marks.
Plain white plastic-lined inner which I believe is original. Made in England 117.
I start all my auctions at £1.00. I don't see any point in higher starting prices. I don't do Buy It Now auctions, or stop auctions early at anyone's request. So no need to ask.
