Description

Decca Records  DL 4950   (label DL 34505)    G/VG   MONO   1967.   US original WHITE LABEL PROMO album.  Rare version, includes the 4 commercials listed on the side 1 label.   The great Who album, The Who Sell Out, featured the band at its energenic and creative peak!!!  Songs include, I Can See For Miles, Tattoo, Armedia In the Sky, and more.  The cover has edge and corner wear, some peeling, tape on spine. The vinyl has some scuffs, BUT the white promo labels are very clean!!!  The mono version sounds nice and strong!!!     

As Always, ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of OVER 45 years and again..NO JUNK!!!

I specialize in selling PROMOTIONAL albums in rock n' roll and jazz from the 1960's and 1970's. PROMO albums are usually pressed from the original master tapes in an extremely limited quantity, and are 1ST pressings!!! Many are issued with white labels, others have radio timing strips on the cover, just a promo sticker or gold cover stamps. Given out selectively to radio stations before the stock release, they generally have superior sound quality, are RARE, collectable, and getting VERY SCARCE!!! 

PLEASE NOTE: I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, if necessary. I pack ALL records carefully. Records are placed outside of the record cover in a clear plastic record sleeve. Albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box.
