From 1969, I am offering here, Pete Townshend’s first concept album produced by Kit Lambert. An original TRACK first pressing of this fantastic WHO classic, with original laminated tri-fold cover and numbered lyric booklet in incredible excellent condition. These items usually turn up battered and worn due to the weight of the heavy vinyl.
The tri-fold sleeve printed by ERNEST J DAY is very clean showing only minimal wear to spine corners. The laminated front showing no creasing what so ever, this has to be one of the cleanest copies that I have ever come across.
The numbered lyric picture booklet is also exceptionally clean, you would be hard pushed to find a better copy.
The Vinyl looks and sounds amazing, typical of 60s thick vinyl. Being very critical I have say there is a light surface mark on side four which stops me from grading this as near mint. Similar to the Track ELECTRIC LADYLAND, sides 1 & 4 are on record one, and sides 2 & 3 are on record two.
ALL ITEMS WILL BE PACKED WELL AND A CERTIFICATE OF POSTING WILL BE USED
As a collector myself, I know how frustrating and disappointing it is to receive a tatty item which bears very little resemblance to the description given. I try hard to be as accurate as I can when grading, and use all sources available - including the 'Record Collector Grading system
Nor will I neglect to mention glaringly obvious vandalism such as writing on the label or sleeve. Which amazingly have been omitted from a lot of descriptions to purchases I have unfortunately gone on to make!
