Description
A lovely 1973 reissue copy of The Who - Tommy, their imaginative rock opera originally released in 1969 which includes Pinball Wizard.
Released on the Track Record label, the lyric booklet is included plus the original British Patent inner sleeves.
Both records have been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and have come up spotlessly clean and very glossy with a few faint scuffs and marks but no feelable damage. Clean labels with a few silvery spindle trails - graded VG+.
The album has been played through in its entirety and enjoyed by us. A warm, analogue and very nostalgic sound quality, typical of Track Record pressings, vibrant and sweeping, wonderful bass and depth - a joy to listen to.
The vinyl behaves as it should with no jumping, sticking or skating, some low noise/crackle in places, nothing unusual for vinyl of this vintage and nothing that detracts from the enchanting and majestic power of this album.
The trifold envelope sleeve is in good shape, solid & sturdy with mild age related wear to corners and edges plus shelfwear to the top seam ( see photo).
No writing, stains, tears or ugly tape repairs.
The accompanying lyric booklet is included ( see photos).
The original poly lined inner sleeves are both present. A date has been helpfully written on one sleeve.
A lovely copy, fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable & play loud!
