This is a lovely UK original first pressing of the 'Tommy' double LP from 1969.

A//1 / B//1 / A//1 / B//1 matrix numbers. Side One and Side Four on on the first LP and Side Two and Side Three on the second LP. This is the way this double set was first produced.

Original matt black and silver Track labels with 'Made In Gt Britain' label text

Original fully-laminated (to outer surfaces) E.J. Day triple fold sleeve with internal opening. This is the very first printing of this sleeve with the 'Patent Pending' text to the rear. These fragile original sleeves are usually in terrible condition. This one is just lovely! - At least excellent condition with a few scuffs to the edges and corners (very, very minor except for some small areas of surface tearing to the rear spine area). There is some very light, minor storage wear and a couple of light creases (but not folds), otherwise it's as new. Clean, bright and straight with no splits, rips, tears (other than that previously noted). No writing or sticker marks and virtually no ringwear. The spine and edges are near perfect and this is easily the best original sleeve I've seen in a very long time! You probably won't find better!

Original, individually numbered, colour booklet (this one is number 14235) in stunning near mint condition - Absolutely perfect and as new except for some extremely minor surface 'rippling'. No creases or folds. No rips, tears. No writing, no marks. All pages are intact with no 'pulling' at the spines. A fabulous copy!

Both records are in at least excellent condition with several light surface marks and some light spindle marks to the labels. All four labels are otherwise perfect and as new. These LP's play superbly and sound fantastic!

This is, without a doubt, the best true UK first pressing I ever managed to find in over 20 years. Proper first pressings just don't turn up. To find one this nice is amazing!
