Description
Here is the very rare 45 with picture sleeve of the song That Thing You Do from the fictional band "The Wonders" from Tom Hanks' genius movie about a 60 rock/pop bands quick rise and fall. This is such a fun collectible record since it's got the retro feel of a 60s 45 but of course this was made in limited numbers back in 1996. I've sold many of the U.S. singles without the sleeves (and those are hard to come by as well) that were mainly used in jukeboxes. But these UK promo 45s are nice because of the picture sleeve as well as the record label design that is more like a 60s 45 than the ones from the U.S. that looked no different from the current 90s titles.
The vinyl plays perfect the sleeve has a bit of wear but not much. All in all an excellent find!
If you like rare records of all sorts I will be putting up hundreds of records from all eras genres and yes there will be promos and more picture sleeves and just a variety of great stuff.
