Description
This is one of the albums that, along with the 1st Pretty Things and 1st Downliners Sect LPs defined British beat, in my view, with Eric Clapton and the band rockin' yer socks off ! The flipback cover is in EX condition with some corner wear and a 4.5 cm. or 1.75" seam split on the top edge, which is not through and through - actually more of a slight laminate separation. There are some finger marks on the back where cover was held. In daylight, the vinyl looks NM except for a scuff on side 2, which is inaudible. Under critical light there are a few scuffs to be seen which are also inaudible (side 2). The Columbia Blue/Blacks are the greatest pressings you can have. I will rate the vinyl EX/EX+ and it plays MINT. I tested it on a Rega P3 turntable with a Denon DL-160 moving coil cartridge through a Mission Cyrus II amplifier with PSX and "The Pillar" speakers by MoA Acoustics. All in all a very fine item which will upgrade your collection considerably - a must-have for the lover of true British Beat.
Payment & Shipping : PayPal and cash only. Please inquire about total cost before making any payment. Registered mail is advised ; non-registered is at buyer's risk. I tape the LPs in plastic to prevent any moisture damage and use heavy duty custom made cardboard boxes that provide optimal protection.
