Description
Decent playing copy of this lovely raucous live recording of The Yardbirds in concert, with Eric Clapton on guitar, having a punky belt through some classic rhythm and blues numbers.
This is a genuine UK 1st press with 1N/1N matrices and the flipback sleeve dated December 1964 at lower right corner on the back cover, shown by the numbering 6412.
The sleeve has minor spine creasing, cornerwear and some light grubbiness to the back cover, but is easily in VG++ condition.
The vinyl has one notable flaw – a half centimetre sliver of vinyl missing from the run-in on Side 2. Just ensure you put the needle down close to the start of the track, then no problems.
The vinyl has plenty of hairlines and marks both sides but no feelable scratches and plays through really well, grading VG+. So often the way with these heavyweight deep groove 60s pressings, thankfully!
The labels are in excellent condition with only minor spindle wear visible.
Supplied with a new lined white inner sleeve.
Great copy.
