This auction is for the rare and desirable 'Five Yardbirds' by (of course) the Yardbirds. This is the the rare Mono EP on the Columbia record label.
The Catalogue number is SEG 8421.
What sets this one apart is it's condition. This record (guaranteed 100% original) is as near to mint as you are ever likely to find.
The cover is in amazing condition with absolutely no stains, creases, or writing although there is VERY slight ringwear - only visible when holding the cover at a certain angle under the srongest light - other than that it's absolutely perfect - so near mint is certainly a fair description.
The record has one very light hairline scratch - and is a beautiful example of an old english pressing, still with its original lustre it simply looks unplayed. Having said that, it has been played once, by me to grade it and it plays perfectly....no pops, skips . Just the stunningly powerful original mono mix. A superb sound from one of the greatest English bands of the sixties.
The Label is also perfect with only the lightest of spindle marks and this is the only suggestion that the record has ever been played.
This is probably the best example of this EP that you will ever have the opportunity to buy. endless to say, this EP will be extremely well packed for shipping with extra care taken to protect the sleeve (especially the corners).
