THE YARDBIRDS – THE HITS OF
(CANADIAN CAPITOL DT6229 – 1967)
Compilation of Yardbird’s hits as issued in Canada. This was their 5th (and last) original release in that country before the group disbanded the following year. This was released as part of the ‘Capitol 6000’ series :- a unique EMI Canada series which released both Canadian orientated albums by both local artists and (predominately) UK ones as well.
There are numerous unique releases by artists such as The Beatles/Hollies/Animals etc which were entirely originated in Canada with unique artwork and tracks. The Yardbirds were no exception, with all their 5 albums (except Little Games) unique in either or both track listing or cover. This album is no exception.
Contains all the Yardbird’s big hits of 1965-1966 (and the odd surprise...)

Cover = VG+ (Unlaminated Capitol sleeve with unique artwork. Slight foxing and ringwear. Spine and cover seams in tact. No tears or writing)
Record = Strong VG (Plays VG+ for the most part. Nice sheen. A few hairlines, markings, scuffs. Minimal spindle wear)
Capitol Rainbow labels in Excellent condition.
Plays extremely well and is a good listen....
