I Wish You Would b/w A Certain Girl

Label Columbia
Year: 1964
The Yardbirds were a pioneering 1960s band, with Eric Clapton & the one and only Jimmy Page in their line up, as well as Jeff Beck.
I would grade this vinyl as very good.
It did play well but there were some crackles:
When I played the record, the run on intro on both sides was a bit crackly.
This was only at the start and as soon as the music started I could not hear any further problems until the run - off grooves, which had similar crackles.
I Wish You Would is a classic Mods track and it was great to hear this again.
The sleeve is the original and it is a little bit creased but not ripped or torn anywhere.
It is quite thin paper, so it has done very well to last so long without any tears.
All this is consistent with a vinyl record which is over 50 years old.
Grading
I use the Rare Record Guide matrix as a guideline but also prefer to listen to the vinyl where possible and visually grade the condition.
