In its original U.S. vinyl release, this album, comprised of several singles and B-sides plus excerpts off of Five Live Yardbirds, was one of the best LPs of the entire British Invasion, ranking on a par with the greatest mid-'60s work of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones; it was also just a step away from being a best-of the Yardbirds as well. No collection has ever outdone the sheer compactness and high quality of Having a Rave Up.

GRADING

Goldmine grading standard, expanded

cover / record - All records are cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine (clean records sound better), and graded under bright lights. Many are play tested

SS still sealed

NM near mint. cover and record looks like new.

VG++ cover and record looks almost like new.

VG+ cover may show light wear but still looks very nice / record may have very light surface marks or scuffs which have little or no effect on play. may have a little surface noise but should sound great. 

VG(+) Better than VG, but not quite VG+ cover will have some wear / record may have surface marks, scuffs, some light surface scratches, some surface noise, but should sound very good.

VG Very Good. cover may have more noticeable wear, seam wear, ring wear, writing or small splits, but is still solid / record may have scratches, signs of wear and some surface noise, but still should sound good.  (  I will list some VG records after playing the complete record, and if it sounds good to me and was an enjoyable listen I will list it   ) 

VG- cover has more wear, may have some splitting / record defects will be more pronounced than VG, may have more and deeper scratches, scuffs, and more surface noise, but still plays OK  Will only list very rare records in this condition or worse.

G cover will have a lot of wear, may be completely split / record is heavily scratched but plays , but might skip or jump.
