YES 'The Yes Album' UK - First Pressing 1971
Matrix Side 1) 2400101 A//1 1127 Side 2) 2400101 B//1 11131
Vinyl Play Back: EX+ No major issues to report. Marvelous audio delivery and playback! The record has been play-graded from start to finish, on both sides.
Cover: EX- The matte finish gatefold shows minimal signs of aging. There is minor scuffing near the top of the spine and a few tiny 'scuff-dots' on the front cover.  The spine is straight with all text clearly legible. The inside foldout has a soft wrinkle near Chris Squire's image. The original owner added laminate stripping to the top and bottom of the jacket resulting in zero shelf wear. The laminate is solidly intact however there are some areas where it has lifted a tad. These areas are seen as blemishes along the top and bottom of the jacket. The laminate strip applications are neat, passive, and extremely professional in appearance. No writing, major creases, or corner bumps. The cover is smooth, lays flat, and presents itself absolutely beautifully.
Vinyl Visual: EX+ There is a very small surface scuff on S2 which is not audible. Under fluorescent lighting, I cannot find another mark on it. The record is in gorgeous condition.
Labels: EX- Near perfect. There is a light text blemish on S1. Appears to be a result of fabrication.
Inner: EX- Three faint smudges on one side and a small paper tear at the bottom which does not cut through the inner baggy.  No seam splits.
A terrific copy.
INV: 1139

Grading endeavors to be conservative. (Please see below for grading scale)
All open vinyl is shipped in a new poly-inner, and the album cover in a poly-sleeve.
Vinyl is cleaned on a VPI 16.5 machine and test played 'start-to-finish' prior to listing, unless otherwise noted.
'Vinyl Playback' will always address egregious audible concerns.   If you encounter any issues with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving negative or neutral feedback.
My goal is your 100% complete satisfaction.

Vinyl Play Grades
M: Still sealed
M-: An opened item that appears 'M'. Virtually perfect playback.
NM: A few minor visual imperfections with virtually no audible impact. Top quality play.
EX: A few more surface marks than NM with very few audible imperfections. Quality play.
VG+: Surface scuffs and lines. Some light surface noise or a few tics or pops. Enjoyable play.
VG: Defined scuffs, lines, and scratches. More surface noise, tics, and pops than VG+. Acceptible play.
G: Heavy wear, deep scratches, with egregious surface noise, clicks, and pops. Poor play.
Hybrid Example:    Vinyl which is VG in appearance but plays NM. = Visual Grade: VG  Playback Grade: NM
The reverse may also occur.  = Visual Grade: NM  Playgrade: VG
Album covers are graded on a case by case basis given the myriad of issues which may impact each.
All grading is completely subjective and provided to the best of my ability.
