The Zombies Psych LP Odessey and Oracle 1A/ 1E Plates
(I used to work at Sound Odyssey, so yes I know that they spelled it wrong. I’m sure they know it by now, too!)
If you’re a collector of rare psych LP’s from the 60’s and you don’t own a copy of this,

Vinyl--- With the exception of two soft marks on side 1, the vinyl looks shiny and amazing. You can’t feel the marks with your fingertip, and your stylus will track completely silently across them both. Side 2 has a few short, light marks that you also can’t feel or hear. Beautiful copy otherwise!
Plates--- 1A/ 1E. Definitely a very early pressing.
Cover--- Not the best cover. Top and bottom seams are split about halfway. Spine is ok. Heavy wear to both front and back covers.
Labels--- Nearly NM labels. Side 1 has two very light spindle marks. Other than that, they look freshly-printed from 1968. (By the way, does anyone remember when this used to be the “Dial” label? They had to change it to “Date,” because there was already a “Dial.” But they kept the rotary logo in the “d.”)
Inner Sleeve--- Generic white inner sleeve with no die-cut holes for the labels to show. Pretty good condition, nice and flat. Sleeve has yellowed over time. Three seams are still perfectly intact, one side seam has split about two inches. A generic white sleeve will be provided so as not to split your original inner sleeve en route.
Not many of these out there for sale, as you know. This one is in beautiful VG+ condition, and with a VPI cleaning, will play VG++ to NM. Well-cared for record.
Note: All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
