The kinks "Arthur...." LP Decades old, but in excellent condition. Sent with Australia Post Standard Service.
I have no idea how to value this record. I have been a fan of the Kinks since I saw them at Festival Hall in Melbourne in the 1960's. I don't know when I purchased this album, except that I have had it in my collection for more than 30 years - probably more than 40 years.  It's a Gold Star series edition, which I think is probably a reissue, but I'm not certain. 
Allmusic rate this a 5 star record, and I have always enjoyed it. I play my records on good equipment  and handle them with a light touch. They have are always stored in plastic dust jackets.
I would rate the condition of the vinyl as VG+ according to the Goldmine grading system. I have listened to the record in preparation for sale, and have heard no pops or crackles. There are very few minor surface scratches that do not affect play.
The cover is not in as good condition, but would still, I think, rate as VG. When held up to the light, there is a circular defect from the removal of a sticker. It's a gatefold cover, and there is a 1cm tear on the top of the spine, and also some general deterioration along the rest of the spine caused by opening the gatefold, and this is probably the cover's greatest defect. It is necessary to open the gatefold up to remove/insert the record. There is also some slight ring wear.
Records are sent in a double layer of stiff cardboard, with the record external to the cover to minimise the possibility of compression damage.
