A mega-rare MOD gem from 1966! GEORGIE FAME ~ "Get Away" b/w "El Bandido"
Georgie Fame's unique blend of hammond led R&B quickly elevated him to star status within the early London mod scene. His gigs at the Scene Club were jam packed with the hippest faces cutting the latest moves on the dance-floor. Unlike many so-called 'mod bands' who were marketed to appeal to mods, Georgie Fame was a massive underground name in mod clubs before the scene became commercial/mainstream.
